Get to completely enjoy a luxurious meal with all my friends at my own house without doing any work.

I can’t recommend this experience highly enough. Instead of a party or dinner out for my birthday this year, we invited eight of our closest friends to our home for an Italian food and wine experience. Carmen and Danielle prepared an incredible four-course meal paired with many, many wines. In addition to a delicious culinary experience, we learned about Italian culture and history through their presentation of the food and wine. They are knowledgeable about the wine, steeped in the culture and fluent in Italian. They left without a trace with nothing to pick up after them. It was a novel and extremely enjoyable event to share with our friends. You should do it!

Not turn on my oven, not wash a single dish, not break a single glass. Just had an awesome party with no effort.

Carmen and Danielle came in like a whirlwind and created a sumptuous dinner party as though by magic. We had four courses of spectacular Italian food and matching wines, and we got to learn all about Italian culture while we were at it. My only complaint is that they’ve ruined all other parties for me—all I want is Cabinet Supper Clubs all the time!

What did you do with Carmen & Danielle?

I hosted a wine tasting for about 30 friends in Martinez with Carmen and Danielle presiding. At my request, the wines featured an area of Southern Italy, a place I'd recently visited.

That amazing white from Southern Italy whose name escapes me because I drank it all :)

Best thing you did?

Hire these two.

The tasting was so much fun!! And it was not your everyday tasting! Both Carmen and Danielle had extensive experiences in the region and wove personal tidbits into their descriptions, as well as gentle instructions on how to taste the wines and what special characteristics to notice. They easily orchestrated the occasion, letting us drift into conversation between generous pourings, shepherding us back to the tasting with tales of the region and wines, letting us imagine the rocky Amalfi terraces and ancient olives of Puglia .... and I honestly didn't have to do anything except enjoy their expertise and delightful company, the company of my guests, the wonderful wines.... my only job was to engage and watch a wonderful event just unfold. It was a dream that I hope to repeat many times over!

Tie between seeing Caterina da Siena’s shrunken head and drinking spritzes poolside while the sun set.

I honestly can’t say enough about what an amazing trip Carmen and Danielle put together. I’ve been visiting Italy for years and felt like my eyes were being opened to an entirely new world. Between the villa (glorious), the food and wine (consistently exceptional), and their expertise (immense), it was like living in a dream. I had the time of my life and can’t wait to travel with them again!

Best thing you drank?

Honestly it has to be the crema di caffè—this creamy icy coffee drink you get at local cafés all over Tuscany that completely changed my life.

Best thing you did?

Took a 10 mile run through the countryside and then had a dinner that was just a mountain of pasta.

This was my first time in Italy and I feel like I can’t return if not with Carmen and Danielle. Everything was taken care of, and we had the best of everything. I ate well, I drank well, I lived well! Once you have this experience you’ll NEVER want to travel to Italy—or probably anywhere else—without them.
